Manos del Uruguay Marla

Marla is a beautiful and bouncy DK weight superwash merino wool, made up of two multi-coloured plies to give it the look of hand spun yarn. The overall effect is that of a variegated yarn, with some colour repetition but also some colour shifts unique to each skein!

All Manos del Uruguay yarns are hand-dyed by artisans in cooperative workshops, located throughout rural Uruguay. The artisans - mostly women - are co-owners of the company and all profits are shared or reinvested into the organization or local communities.
