Awa in Quechua (The native language of the Incas) means fabric, weave or knitted. This unique blend of Baby alpaca, Merino wool and Pima cotton is soft to the touch and exceptionally light to wear, owing to its chainette contruction.
Awa represents the thriving weaving and knitting traditions rooted in Peru dating back to pre-Inca times until modernity. The color chart of Awa finds its inspiration in the vibrant colors of the traditional Peruvian textiles.
